LOS ANGELES (AP) — When Whitney Houston died right before the Grammys last year, the Recording Academy had to scramble.

The story of how they pulled it off will be the subject of a one-hour special called “The Grammys Will Go On: A Death In The Family.” It will feature interviews with Dave Grohl, Jennifer Hudson, LL Cool J, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Bonnie Raitt, Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift and Joe Walsh.

It runs on CBS February 9, the day before the Grammys.
