STAFF VACANCY TEMPORARILY CLOSES DOVES OFFICE IN CHADRON

Doves       The DOVES domestic violence support program has closed its Chadron office, but executive director Hilary Wasserburger says it’s only temporary…the result of a staff resignation.

She’s not sure when the vacancy will be filled and the office will again handle walk-in traffic, but emphasizes that anyone needing help in the Chadron-Highway 20 area can still receive it at any time through the DOVES 24-hour-hotline at 866-95-DOVES or by the internet at www.DOVESProgram.com

DOVES opened offices in Chadron and Alliance in the summer of 2010, taking over for Family Rescue Services. It now has 5 offices serving 9 counties with a variety of services for victims of domestic and sexual violence and abuse.
