Phillips Named RMAC Softball First Team All-Academic, Six Teammates Make Honor Roll

     Chadron State softball players are being recognized for their dedication both on the field and in the classroom by the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
Junior Breeze Phillips made First Team All-Academic with a 4.0 GPA in Psychology. Phillips has made 12 pitching appearances for the Eagles this season, throwing 22 innings.
     Five of Phillips’ teammates were named to the RMAC softball Honor Roll: Rebekah Anthony, Taylor Bauer, Zoe Humphries, Caroline Johnson, Courtney Lecher and Morgan Wilhelm. To qualify, all six carried at least a 3.3 GPA as the season began.
Chadron State is 13-33 this year and will host MSU-Denver tomorrow (Friday) at 10:00 followed by Colorado Mesa at 2:00. Saturday’s slate flips with the Eagles taking on Mesa followed by MSU-Denver in the afternoon. (Photo Courtesy CSC Information)
