MARSHVILLE, N.C. (AP) — While Randy Travis fights to recover from a stroke and surgery at a hospital in a Texas hospital, one of his brothers is in a legal scrape.
Authorities in North Carolina say David Traywick was busted after sheriff’s deputies found a working meth lab inside his home. Deputies arrested Traywick, his wife Jessica and two other women — and charged them with conspiracy to traffic meth.
Bond has been set at a half-million dollars for the couple. Last fall, deputies Traywick with cooking meth in a makeshift lab near his home, about 35 miles southeast of Charlotte.
Meanwhile, Randy Travis is in a hospital in Plano, Texas. He has been treated for a heart problem, a stroke — and an operation that followed the stroke.
