UNDATED (AP) — Lady Gaga has come out of surgery feeling grateful. She posted on her blog Wednesday she had hip surgery and it “happened so fast.” She had to call off her tour because her hip pain was too great.

Lady Gaga thanks her fans for their stories of support. She says as she was being wheeled into surgery she thought about her fans’ pain and perseverance.

She told fans the surgery is “just a bump in the road” and if they can make it through their pain, so can she.
