The Chadron Girls Basketball team traveled to Alliance on Thursday night to play the Kimball Longhorns for the subdistrict final, and came away with an 57-29 victory.

The Lady Cardinals, dominated the game early and pulled ahead quickly for a 14-2 first quarter lead.  Chadron led by 15 points at the break 28-13, by the third quarter the score was 41-21.  Kimball never got back into the game and lost to Chadron 57-29.

The Lady Cardinals got 19 points from Bailea Kerr who led all scores, Peyton Hinn finished with 11, while Briley Hannaford scored 10 points.

Shelby Vogel was the only Longhorn in double figures she scored 10 points.

The Lady Cardinals will play Gothenburg on Friday February 22nd in the district final, the game will be held at 7:00 in Sidney.
