Kelley Bean Chairman of the Board Bob Kelley presents a $5,000 check for the new Box Butte County Fair livestock pavilion to County 4-H Coordinator Deb Kraenow Wednesday afternoon at the 4-H office in Alliance.

Several 4-H, FFA, and County Fair supporters were in attendance.

Kelley Bean has 22 midwest operations, including a plant in Alliance.

Fair Board President John Annen says the nearly one-half million dollar structure is now more than 75% funded.

The new building is completely enclosed and electricity has been installed.  Showers and bathrooms are now being installed.

The Box Butte County Fair will take place August 1-11.
