NEW YORK (AP) – Jim Carrey is speaking out against his next movie. He says “Kick-Ass 2” is too violent in the wake of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary. He made the movie before 20 children and six adults were killed. He tweets that “in good conscience” he can’t “support that level of violence.” He says he’s not ashamed of the film, but has had a change of heart.
