FOR HIS KIDS

Many of us make fitness resolutions at the start of the new year, but without a plan, it is easy to get side tracked and fall back into old routines.

How are you doing with your fitness goals? Are you still going strong… or have you already given up?

Yesterday we posted an inspiring testimonial from Melissa and today we wanted to share Bill’s success story to help you stay motivated.

It’s hard to believe that just over a year ago, Bill S. was in pretty bad shape. He was overweight and had no energy. Upon the birth of his twins, he knew he had to make a change. He took the Beachbody challenge.

A little over a year ago I was in the worst shape of my life. I weighed 295 lbs and had no energy. I started walking, cleaning up my diet and then started P90X. After completing P90X, I went on to the challenge of P90X2, and then on to Insanity.

My greatest challenge was starting. I had owned P90X for a year before using it. You just have to do your best and forget the rest. I loved the challenge of Insanity. It is almost unobtainable to fully complete every exercise. Even Shaun T cant finish but still gives you something to aim for. It’s important to do your best, because you are not going to be Tony Horton or Shaun T right out of the box.

I’m proud of the changes I’ve made. I have a bigger chest and a smaller waist. I went from an XXXL shirt to a medium, and went from a 44″ waist to a 30″ waist. I feel great and have tons of energy. Currently I am working on a P90X and Insanity hybrid that I created as I wait for my Les Mills Combat to ship! In total, I’ve lost 125 lbs. and have been maintaining it happily. Beachbody makes it easy.
