CRAZY HORSE TURNING BLUE FOR AUTISM TUES NIGHT

Crazy Horse - faceToday is United Nation’s World Autism Awareness Day, and to mark the occasion the Crazy Horse Memorial is turning blue to shine the light on autism.

The mountain sculpture dedicated to honoring and preserving Native American culture will be bathed in blue light tonight from 7-10:00…a move made by Crazy Horse officials at the urging of a Lakota mother who has two twins with autism to raise awareness of the condition.

There’s free admission to see the special lighting, but donations of food and money will be accepted for a local food pantry.
