This school year, 97.5 Double Q Country and B94.7 are joining forces with Upper Niobrara White Natural Resources District to honor great teachers at panhandle area schools.  Our Teacher Of The Month program began Wednesday morning with our visit to College Heights Academy in Chadron!  The August winner is Amanda Welch, who teaches her students science, math and life skills at the Academy.  During our visit students were learning letters with shaving cream!

As our UNWNRD Teacher of the Month, Amanda received a gift basket full of goodies from our sponsoring businesses including UNWNRD, Arrow Building Center, Nebraskaland Tire, and Horizon West Dental.  In addition to the gifts given to Amanda, the kids also celebrated with treats from Ta-Da Quilt Shop and Art Studio.
