The Alliance Volunteer Fire Department was called to a fire on Valentine’s day.

According to the Alliance Fire Department, fire crews were dispatched to a chimney fire in the 400 block of Toluca on Valentine’s day at approximately 4 p.m.

“Everything was contained within the chimney with no extension into the walls. Occupants are safe and were not displaced,” said AFD.
