KEARNEY, Neb. (AP) — A 55-year-old Kearney woman has died after being hit by a train.

Kearney officers were sent to the scene on West Railroad Street a little after 6:15 p.m. Sunday after Union Pacific workers called 911.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name and other details about the incident haven’t been released.
