A wildfire burning near Wheatland, Wy.  grew to 24,000 acres and prompted evacuations on its southern and eastern flanks, authorities said Thursday. …But firefighters, who are contending with rugged terrain and dry, windy weather, managed to contain about a third of the blaze as of Thursday morning. That’s about 10 percent more containment that a day earlier……More than 360 firefighters and support staff from around the country are working the fire, which began Sunday morning in the mountains six miles west of Wheatland.  Officials say lighting ignited the fire.
