Legion Baseball Junior Districts open Friday for Area B7 in Gering and Chadron is the top seed.

The Nationals will play six-seed Hershland to open the tournament at 1:00, followed by #3 Alliance against #4 Sidney at 4:00 and #2 Ogallala takes on #5 Gering at 7:00.

The Ogallala-Gering winner and Alliance-Sidney winner will meet in the second round on Saturday, while the Chadron-Hershland winner will have a shot at eliminating the Alliance-Sidney loser Saturday.

The tournament will run through next Tuesday.  Check back here regularly for updates on scores and match-ups.
