Terry was born on October 1, 1960, in Chadron, to Doris (Hoevet) Rising and Jack Rising of Crawford, Nebraska. He passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017. After 18 years of life post heart transplant, Terry died in Alliance, Nebraska, where he was still working for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.
Terry is survived by his mother, Doris, brother, Mark, wife Andrea (Jaggers) Rising, step-daughter Lark (Folkerts) Schmall, her husband Brant and their children Barrett and Macy, and step-son Shawn Folkerts and his girlfriend Mikayla Fletcher. Also many family and friends.
A cowboy at heart, Terry loved roping and was a skilled horseman from the time he was a child. Terry and Andie got to rodeo together for a precious short while. His memories and stories were always about his lifelong friends and his wild and wonderful family.
