MANILA, Philippines (AP) – Environmental activists say Sting should practice what he preaches with the environment, and Sting agreed. Sting has moved his concert in the Philippines after environmentalists circulated a petition saying the original venue is owned by a conglomerate that plans to uproot 182 trees for a parking lot and mall expansion. The SM Mall of Asia Arena says Sting himself made the decision to change the site of his December 9 concert. The original arena’s business manager says the venue became “collateral damage” in the environmentalists’ campaign.
