The SAY Formal Dinner/Dance that was held last Friday night was wonderful! Thank you to Ms. Schmeits, Mrs. Gould and SAY for your hard work. Thank you to all the parents who cooked and chaperoned. The dinner was wonderful and the dance was fun to watch.
A note from Mrs. Gould: In preparation for the St. Agnes Glow in the Spirit Fun Run on May 22nd, St. Agnes Staff, students and their families are challenged to read at home for 20 minutes and move (walk, run, or bike) a mile each day leading up to the Fun Run. Beginning on May 1st, all participants are asked to track their progress on the chart attached to this letter. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the year school mass for minutes and miles recorded.

Join us for May Crowning, May 1 at 9 AM in the PC gym. The Kindergarten class will crown Mary. All students will need to bring a flower so that each class can present a bouquet at the crowning. After May Crowning, the fourth grade will wind the May Pole. Many of the older students won’t be able to attend because they will be attending a Track meet in Morrill all day.
Tuesday, May 5th, the eighth grade will be going to Pine Ridge to deliver the goods they have collected for St. Francis House. If anyone has any goods or monetary donations, please turn them in by Monday, May 4. The eighth grade will also tour the Heritage Center and the Church at Red Cloud Indian School. Also, on May 5th, the sixth grade will be going to Wind Cave for their field trip and the 5th grade will go to the Conservation Fair at Chadron.
On May 11, the 8th grade class will be at AHS at 1 PM for registration for their 2015-2016 classes. Mr. Glesinger will accompany them. After registration they will be attending the Activity Fair, which gives them the opportunity to learn about different activities that are available to them at the high school next year.
This is a busy, busy time of year! We are trying our best to keep everyone “on the same page.” Have a great week!
