A 34-year-old Scottsbluff man has been charged with enticing a 15-year-old Alliance girl with an electronic device.

KNEB Radio in Scottsbluff reports that court documents filed Monday by Nebraska State Patrol Sergeant Monty Lovelace indicate William Pritchard is accused of sending a nude picture April 28th to a 15-year-old girl through a text message.

The court documents say law enforcement became involved after the victim’s mother found a string of text messages sent by Pritchard to her daughter’s cell phone. The documents say the mother had caught Pritchard sending text messages to her daughter a year ago and she knew he was currently on the Nebraska Sex Offender Registry.

Pritchard was arrested after Lovelace was able to obtain Pritchard’s cell phone and found deleted images of the suspect that depicted full frontal nudity, including one in the time frame the victim said she received such a message.

Pritchard, who will make his first court appearance Monday, is being held on $75,000 bond with a 10% cash provision.
