At Monday night’s Alliance Board of Education meeting,  former Bulldog Girls Basketball Coach Dave Sautter was rehired as Head Girls Coach.  Sautter was a long time assistant to both Val Jansante and Randy Heimstra before taking over as head girls coach in 2001. He lead Alliance to State Tournament berths in 2001, 2002 and 2007, winning the Class B State Championship in 07.  He has also served as head Volleyball and Boys Golf coach and Head Freshman Football coach. He retired from teaching several years ago, but continued to work with the girls basketball program as Freshman girls coach. Heidi Manion will continue as assistant coach, after taking over the head coaching position on an interim basis following the resignation of Joe Kaup in January.  Alex Cape will serve as freshman girls basketball coach in addition to serving as assistant volleyball coach.
