ALLIANCE FIRE DEPARTMENT MISS FLAME PAGEANT RULES AND ENRY FORM

Purpose:
Celebrating the “inner beauty” of our men with the courage to step outside their comfort zone to share humor and the lighter side of life. Where men can show off their feminine side with style.
Guidelines / Regulations
– All contestants must be male and be 19 years or older. Proof of age required.
– All participants must attend a rehearsal on July 16, 2014 at 7 pm at the Performing Arts Center, and if a finalist if at all possible, participate in the parade on July 19, 2014 at 9 am.
– This is a Family oriented event. ALL apparel and activities will be appropriate for this type of event.
– The Talent portion of the contest must be completed in 5 minutes or less, please bring any props or music to the rehearsal the day before the contest.
– Contestants will be responsible for all outfits, music and props. We will have attendants available to assist you with your hair, makeup and costumes, BUT if at all possible bring your own attendant.

Competition Categories
Evening Gown: Contestants will enthrall the audience with a lovely gown of their choice.
Gowns must be below the knee and appropriate for family viewing. Contestants will be scored on style, composure, presentation, and of course grace.
Swimwear: Contestants will dazzle the audience with their choice of bathing suit. Props are allowed, suggestions could include (rubber ducky, fins, umbrella etc.). If you have a special musical selection you would like as you walk down the run- way, please bring your music to rehearsal the day before. As already mentioned, please remember this is a family event.
Talent: Contestants will be judged on style, audience participation (get them involved!), creativity, and artistic skill. Examples are: juggling, miming, singing, dancing etc. PLEASE remember to keep your skit or talent 5 minutes or less.
On Stage Interview: Each finalist will be required to answer one question posed by the panel of judges. Finalists will wear a lovely evening gown for this last event.
Our distinctive panel of judges will be scoring the contestants in each of the categories above, and based off of these scores the finalist(s) will be chosen. May the BEST male win!!
MISS FLAME 2014 – The contestant chosen will reign over his court of lovely males, he will be awarded a lovely sequenced fire helmet that will hopefully match his eyes.
Miss Smoke – 1st Runner Up will be awarded a lovely crown and share courtly duties with Miss Flame.
Miss Spark – 2nd Runner Up will also receive a lovely crown upon his head and share in courtly
duties.
All above finalists will receive flowers and sashes
