LOS ANGELES (AP) -Garrett Gardner of Team Shakira and Vedo from Team Usher are going home from “The Voice.” They were the lowest vote-getters. Gardner was eliminated just moments after he said how grateful he was to be there, given that he had tried out before and hadn’t been chosen. That brings the 12 finalists down to 10. All 12 finalists had charted on iTunes with downloads of their performances, and those downloads counted toward their vote total.
The soap opera star is the latest washout on “Dancing With the Stars.” But rather than disappointment, Ingo Rademacher says he’s glad he made it this far. He says being on the show was “amazing experience” and that when he started, he figured he “was going to be gone after two weeks.” Rademacher credits pro-dance partner Kym Johnson for helping to make it as far as he did. He says it was Johnson who was able to configure dance routines to accommodate his “two left feet,” as he put it. Next week: the Dancing With the Stars finals. Also worth noting, last night’s show was the 300th of the ABC series.
