According to Nebraska National Forests & Grasslands Public Affairs Officer Cydney Janssen, “Fire officials from the Pine Ridge Ranger District plan to burn piles today approximately 6 miles southeast of Chadron. Piles to be burned are between the Job Crops Bypass road, Kings Canyon road and the Cliffs road.”
