Pearl M. Boyer, 93

Pearl M. Boyer, 93, died Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Highland Park Care Center.

She was born September 9, 1924 in Gordon, Nebraska to Louis Two Strike and
Edna M. Boyer.

Pearl lived in St. Francis, South Dakota until she was 15 and in 1959 moved to
California with her mother.  She later would meet her husband, and due to his job,
they traveled many places such as the Carolina’s, the east coast near Maine and
Washington, D.C., Hawaii, England and Spain.

Her husband passed away around 1995 and she then moved back to Alliance where
she was an independent worker. In 1997 she moved to South Dakota where in 1999,
had a stroke and was placed in a nursing home there for about a year. Her sister
moved her back to Alliance in 2000 where she lived in Highland Park Care Center
for the rest of her life.  She was very happy there and all of the staff through the years
were very nice and caring.  Throughout her life Pearl liked to travel and gamble.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Art (Pricilla) Sanchez and family, Manuel
(Tina) Sanchez and family, Joe (Angie) Sanchez and family, Yvonne (Mark) Robertson
and family, Maria Nelle, Lisa (Bruce) Kittelmann and family, Elaine (James) Hairston
and family, Jeanne Grage and family, Mary (Dave) Bogner and Victor (Echo) Sanchez;
and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her
parents, her sister and brother-in-law, Verna and Paul Sanchez, her aunt Bonnie Gerry,
nieces and nephews, Paul, Mike, Louie and Angelo Sanchez, Norbert, Dean and Darlene
Patton, and Ron and Mike Grage.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Father Tim Stoner will officiate.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the
funeral home on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 1-5p.m.
