LOS ANGELES (AP) — Sometimes things are less than meets the eye. Authorities say they don’t plan to press charges in an incident where Justin Bieber appears to strike a photographer with his white Ferrari. Police say The Beeb’s car collided with a member of the paparazzi late Monday night on Sunset Boulevard.
No one was cited or arrested — and officers determined that no crime was committed. At issue is whether the photographer who was hit was in the roadway when he was struck. A swarm of photographers surrounded Bieber as he tried to get in his car and drive off — and his security people are seen trying to get them to move back as Bieber prepared to drive away.
The clip posted by TMZ.com shows one of the photographers falling to the ground and gripping his knee.
