PLATTSMOUTH, Neb. (AP) — Police in eastern Nebraska say a woman critically injured in a hit-and-run crash last month has died.
Omaha television station KETV says 58-year-old Tammy Martin, of Murray, died Thursday at an Omaha hospital from injuries she received in a June 30 crash in rural Cass County. Investigators say Martin was driving east on a road when another vehicle pulled into an intersection, causing the collision. Deputies say the driver of the other vehicle fled the scene. Officials say they have located the other driver, 34-year-old man also from Murray, but that he has not yet been charged.
Martin was the owner of a well-known Louisville ice cream shop called Mrs. T’s Dari Creme.
