LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — The Devaney Sports Center’s time as home for Nebraska basketball ends Wednesday night when Minnesota visits.

The Cornhuskers will move to Pinnacle Bank Arena just west of campus next season after 37 years in the Devaney. The building will become the Nebraska volleyball team’s arena next fall after a $20 million facelift.

Nebraska has won 75 percent of its games overall (446-148) at the Devaney and 60 percent of its conferences games (166-111).

The building was named for Nebraska Hall of Fame football coach Bob Devaney. Devaney, who also was the school’s athletic director, in 1971 pushed for a new multi-sports facility to replace the Nebraska Coliseum.
