The U.S. Forest Service and South Dakota Department of Agriculture will be hosting a Mountain Pine Beetle Spraying Workshop, on Wednesday, May 8, 6-8 p.m.  At the Pennington County Fairgrounds in the Walter Taylor 4-H Building in Rapid City, SD.

This workshop will focus on the benefits and methods of treating trees to protect them from Mountain Pine Beetles.  The workshops will cover spraying techniques, chemicals used and answer questions that tree owners may have about treating trees.

The workshop is open to the public and all landowners that wanted to learn more about Mountain Pine Beetle and how to prevent them.
