The only incumbent Upper Niobrara White Natural Resource District board member running in the primary election finished 2nd but will still advance to November.

Tom Marcy picked up 2,046 votes or 44% of the total to 1,892 or 39% for incumbent Sub-District 4 member Tod Dorhorst with Brent Shaw getting 895 votes or 19%.

Voting is done districtwide, covering all of Dawes, Sheridan, and Box Butte counties plus the northern half of Sioux County. The Upper Niobrara White has 2 board members from each of 4 Sub-Districts and one at-large member.
