LOS ANGELES (AP) – Everyone knows you can’t go around calling yourself the “Man of Steel” if you have biceps of flab. And that, Henry Cavill, is what inspired him to work extra hard to get in shape to be Superman in the new movie that opens this weekend.
Cavill says the pressure to live up to the ideal people have about Superman being, well super-strong, “is enormous.” Cavill says feeling that pressure “really helps to push out those extra few reps” in the gym to get buff for the role.
