NASHVILLE (AP) — Blake Shelton’s partner for shenanigans at the Academy of Country Music Awards will be Luke Bryan. The academy said it wouldn’t reveal Shelton’s co-host until 25,000 people tweeted to “unlock” the news.

The awards will be April 7 in Las Vegas and shown on CBS. It’s Bryan’s first time hosting a live telecast. Brad Paisley will host the ACM Fan Jam that runs the same day.

Parts of it will be shown during the ACM Awards. Other performers and details will be revealed soon. Since all the big country acts will be in town anyway, they will tape an all-star concert the next day that will run on CBS at a later date.
