NASHVILLE (AP) — Luke Bryan believes if you’re going to be on TV, you better give people something to watch. Bryan says TV doesn’t give many second chances, especially if your performance was so boring it made people change the channel.

Bryan will co-host the Academy of Country Music Awards with Blake Shelton on Sunday. Bryan says he might rub country purists the wrong way but he means no disrespect. He says he loves his approach and “clearly the fans are happy with it.”
