A Lincoln television station will visit Alliance.

Jon Vanderford, News Anchor/Reporter for Lincoln and Grand Island Television Stations KOLN/KGIN, produces a show called “Pure Nebraska” that airs once a week. It’s a show about agriculture, rural communities, and interesting places to visit.

He will be in Alliance, on Wednesday morning, June 19, doing a story on the area potato industry. In afternoon, he will conduct a piece on Carhenge, a segment called “Our Town” on the city of Alliance, and a segment at Dobby’s Frontier Town.

Mayor Fred Feldges, City Manager JD Cox, Box Butte Development Director Chelsie Herian, and Knight Museum Curator Becci Thomas will do on-camera “Our Town” interviews about Building the Best Hometown in America at the Knight Museum, while Marcia Buck will be interviewed for Carhenge and Lori White willl face the camera for Dobby’s Frontier Town.
