Leola J. Moore of Whitney, Nebraska passed away on December 20, 2012 at the Chadron Community Hospital.  Leola was born on May 28, 1930 in Crawford, Nebraska to Walter and Katherine Fleishman.  In June of 1952, she married Buster W. Moore. She worked at the VA Medical Center in Hot Springs, SD and transferred to the USDA Forest Service in Chadron where she retired.

 Leola was preceded in death by her parents, a sister (Dora Liledahl), a brother (Eugene Fleishman) and a granddaughter (Heidi McClung). She is survived by her husband, Buster (Whiney, NE), children – Jim (Krista), Whitney, Ne; Tari (Bruce) McClung, Hot Springs, SD; Kelly Moore, Augusta, ME; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.   Graveside services will be held at a later time.
