A massive opening inning sent the Chadron Nationals to an easy 16-3 win at Morrill Tuesday. The Nats plated 10 runs to start the game and added four more in the second inning to take a 14-3 lead into the third and never looked back.

Tyler Westlock allowed just six Morrill hits and struck out a dozen Vigilantes in his complete game effort.

Run scoring started early with Sidney taking a 4-3 lead after one frame and leading 6-3 after the second. Up 13-3 going into the bottom of the 7th Sidney looked primed for the blowout win but the Bombers rallied with six runs to make it 13-10. The rally was squelched when a runner was thrown out trying to advance to third on a RBI hit and Bridgeport dropped its fourth game of the summer.
