LOS ANGELES (AP) — Justin Bieber’s former bodyguard is suing him for unpaid overtime and for punching him in the chest. Moshe Benabou’s lawsuit claims Bieber berated him and repeatedly punched him after they disagreed on how to handle a member of Bieber’s entourage.
Benabou says after he walked away, Bieber fired him. Benabou says he was mistakenly told he was not entitled to overtime, even though he worked 14 to 18 hour days for a year and a half.
Benabou is seeking unspecified damages for the assault and battery claims and more than $420,000 for unpaid overtime, vacation and other benefits. Bieber’s publicist did not return requests for comment.
