JUSTIN BIEBER AND USHER BEING SUED

Justin Bieber & UsherNORFOLK, Virginia (AP) — It was a single that went platinum for Justin Bieber. But two Virginia songwriters are suing the singer and his mentor, Usher, for an amount that will buy a lot of precious metals.

Devin Copeland and Mareio Overton are suing Bieber and Usher for $10 million for copyright infringement. They claim the song “Somebody to Love” has a lot of similarities to the song by the same name they wrote in 2008.

The suit claims they passed the song around to musical promoters who, they claim, gave it to Usher’s people. No comment from The Beeb’s camp on the lawsuit.
