HILL, WIEDMAN PERFORM WELL AT COWBOY OPEN

LARAMIE, Wyo. – Led by sophomore Mike Hill and true freshman Bryce Wiedeman, the Chadron State College wrestling team performed well during its first regular season action.

In all, nine wrestlers won at least two matches.

Hill went 4-1 at heavyweight – he had two pins and two decisions – to finish in second place, while Wiedeman recorded three consecutive pins and got another pin in the consolation round to finish in fourth place at 157 pounds.

Others winning two matches for CSC included Jesse Larralde and Reed Burgener at 149 pounds, Dustin Stodola at 133, CJ Clark at 149, Tyler Smart at 165, Bret Klopp at 174 and Jordan Debus at 184.
