The 2013 Alliance Heritage Day Parade will take place on Saturday, July 20 at 10 a.m.

The theme is: Join Hands in Celebrating the Third Leg of the 125th Triple Crown – Alliance – 1888 to 2013.

The parade stating area will be around Emerson Elementary School. The parade begins at the Burkholder Center at 6th and Black Hills and ends at Safeway on East Third Street.

–  Judging begins at 9:30 a.m.

– Each entry must include a 200-word or less description.

– One vehicle per entry.

– Entry deadline is Friday, July 12. Late entries will not be judged.

– Chamber Bucks for prizes will be awarded by the Alliance Times-Herald.  $100 for first place in each division and $50 for second place in each division.

– ABSOLUTELY NO CANDY CAN BE THROWN FROM THE FLOATS!  Please hand out the candy while having someone walk near the curbside.

Divisions include Youth, Commercial, Non-Commercial.

Entry forms are available from the Alliance Chamber of Commerce and will be printed in the Alliance Times-Herald.
