LA VISTA – Today, Governor Pete Ricketts will join the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality and representatives of Yahoo! to discuss the positive impacts that cultural changes in the state’s environmental regulatory agency have had on the Nebraska business community.

Yahoo! recently completed a $20 million data center expansion.  As a part of their expansion, the company worked with NDEQ on environmental quality compliance.

The Governor, NDEQ Director Jim Macy, and a representative from Yahoo! will deliver brief remarks before taking questions.  This event is open to credentialed media.  Tours of the data center expansion following the press conference will be open to credentialed media.
