Alliance’s Frank Thompson has been named Heritage Days Grand Marshal this year. Thompson is a 2006 Graduate of Alliance High School. He grew up in Alliance on a ranch south of town then moved to Colorado Springs to pursue the Olympic training center for seven years and now is back in Alliance ranching, shooting, and giving shooting instruction. Thompson is part of the USA World Skeet Team, and is ranked number 26th in the world. He is on the current US National Team and focused towards the 2016 Olympics in Rio. Thompson will be crowned at 6pm at the City of Alliance’s Park Fountain Area tomorrow night
