High school volleyball fall practices begin August 6 across Nebraska and Chadron State College will be hosting a huge volleyball jamboree preseason event with schools from across the Panhandle.

Twelve schools covering several class sizes will come together at the Chicoine Center and Armstrong Gymnasium on August 16 to play exhibition scrimmages.  Each team will play two different opponents and each scrimmage will be two sets to 25 points.

Schools participating are: Alliance, Chadron, Crawford, Gering, Gordon/Rushville, Hay Springs, Hemingford, Hyannis, Leyton, Morrill, Scottsbluff and Sidney.

The CSC volleyball program will contribute equipment, game day workers and line judges.

Scrimmages will start at 6:00 PM.  Admission is $5.00 for adults and $4.00 for students with all proceeds going to the Nebraska High School Sports Hall of Fame.
