Kelly Troester of Chadron State College and Kristen McGlynn-Arendt of Adams State won the RMAC Indoor Track Summit Awards for having the highest GPA among the athletes at the league’s champion meeting…and now they’ve done it again for the Outdoor championships…which start Sunday at Colorado Mines.
All GPAs are based on a straight grading scale to ensure consistency among institutions. Any tie is broken by the number of credits completed.
Troester…an HM Academic All-American last year and an RMAC Cross County All-Academic 2nd team choice last fall…is a senior with a 3.98 grade-point average in Rangeland Management. He and McGlynn-Arendt will be recognized during the awards ceremony after the meet ends Tuesday
