DENVER – Although the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference women’s golf season ended on April 22, the Chadron State College team had one match left…allowing to go out with a victory.
The Eagles defeated Westminster University 462-508 in a dual Saturday at Homestead Golf Course in Denver. Westminster, currently in the NAIA, is slated to join the RMAC in 2015.
Brandi Bork of Westminster fired the best round, a 75 on the par 65 course, but the next four spots were grabbed by CSC. Emma Harris shot an 81 to finish 2nd, Schuyler Wetzel was 3rd at 86, Cali Crile fired an 87 to finish 4th and Danielle Brennan was 5th with a 93.
The fifth member of the CSC team, Nicole Thramer, shot 115 but her score did not count in the team total.
