It wasn’t just football on Saturday for Chadron State. Coach Jay Long and his team helped out with The Big Event to give back to the community.  Thoughts from the coach below:

According to the college, CSC started its version of The Big Event in April 2013 with over 400 students, faculty and staff volunteers helping out across 15 sites in Chadron and the surrounding area. The Big Event has grown to over 600 participants at more than 100 sites in our area.
Texas A&M started the initiative back in 1982 and it’s spread to over 72 campuses nationwide.
