CHADRON – The Chadron State College athletic department will celebrate Labor Day be hosting a community ice cream social at the Wilson Park picnic shelter beginning at 6 p.m.

New Athletic Director Joel R Smith says the ice cream social is free and open to the public with everyone welcome but families  with kids have a special invitation.

Student-athletes, coaches and athletic staff will serve the ice cream until it’s gone, with the players available to sign autographs and visit with fans.
