The Knight Museum & Sandhills Center is happy to announce a new summer program called “Kid’s Collections”. The first collection features a 1/64 scale farm set-up created by Kyler and Carson Thomas and Wyatt Walker. This program celebrates summer fun as a child and encourages children to see their collection through new eyes. Severe weather can happen any time. The CodeRed Emergency notification system is available free of charge and will advise you when severe weather is approaching. If you live in a mobile home or are without a basement, please make arrangements with friends or family to provide you with shelter.

 

The City of Alliance received notification that the City has been awarded the grant funding to assume responsibility for the Box Butte County Public Transit Program effective July 1, 2015.

 

The City of Alliance is currently accepting applications for the positions of Full-time Administrative Secretary – Community Services and Public Transit Driver/Dispatcher.

 

The Big Blue Scramble will be held at Sky View Golf Course on Saturday, June 13 beginning at 10:00 a.m.

 

Friday night Couples League will begin Friday, June 12 at Sky View Golf Course at 5:30 p.m.
