The Citizens against fracking wastewater disposal will meet Thursday July 9, 2015 at the American Legion Hall in Mitchell at 6:00pm.  A lot of new information is available on the fracking situation nationwide and, statewide and will be discussed at the meeting.  You are encouraged to bring any information you have gathered to share with the group.  A discussion will be held on the fund raising efforts to date and what they have accomplished.  Information will be shared on the upcoming Hog Roast and Blue Grass Jam scheduled for July 17 at the Mitchell Legion Hall.   The Legion hall has plenty of seating, is air conditioned and beverages are available through the Legion.  Group spokesperson Patty Goodschmidt says, “This our biggest fund raiser to date and we are calling for all hands on deck to see how far we have come and where we are going.  Our united efforts have been very successful to date and we want to keep the momentum going”.   For information or questions, call 380-641-4517 or 308-247-2166.
