Security First Bank and Chadron State College today announced that they have signed a four-year sponsorship agreement granting Security First Bank the right to be the Premier Bank of Eagle Nation and Official Corporate Sponsor of Chadron State Athletics.

The new sponsorship agreement provides Chadron State College (CSC) Athletics with financial support over four years, and provides Security First with signage at sports events, use of the CSC logo, special bank product offerings and other promotional considerations.

“As the leading regional bank in western Nebraska, Security First is extremely proud to be the official bank of Chadron State College athletics.” said Jason Carnahan, market president for Security First Bank in Chadron. “This expanded sponsorship reflects our commitment to CSC, and our company’s long-term commitment to the Nebraska Panhandle. Security First employs more than 30 CSC alumni, at locations spanning from Beatrice to Valentine to Crawford, which is another great reason for this partnership.”

Chadron State College Athletic Director Joel R. Smith Jr. said the agreement with Security First Bank will provide funds for additional scholarships and operational support.

“I’m thrilled Chadron State College and Security First Bank are entering into this partnership,” Smith said. “It will be beneficial to the college and, of course, to our student-athletes who continually make the people in this region and beyond proud of their accomplishments. I am thankful to the leadership of Security First Bank for this opportunity and I am looking forward to working with them.”

Security First was founded in Rushville, Nebraska, in 1898, and provides banking and insurance services in 20 communities throughout Nebraska and southwest South Dakota.
