On April 30st, 2016 at 03:44 hours, the Chadron Police Department was contacted regarding a female victim of a domestic assault currently at the Chadron Hospital for treatment of four broken ribs and a punctured lung.  An investigation was initiated and the results lead to the arrest of Lawrence E. Pourier (47 years of age) on a charge of Domestic Assault 1st Degree, a class II Felony.  Lawrence was transported to the Dawes County Jail.
